Q: Do you mount pets and tan hides for
domestic livestock?
A: No. We only handle game animals and birds.
Q: What do I need to bring to you besides
the hide/antlers?
A: We will need a copy of your license / tag.
Q: Can you do taxidermy repairs?
A: It may be possible to do some repairs or a remount using a new hide.
Q: Can you mount road kill or a dead bird I
found?
A: No. All work must come in with a valid hunting
license/tag/permit. Some birds, owls, hawks, eagles are protected
and it may be illegal for them to be in your possession.
Q: Do you ship?
A:Yes, call us for rates.
Q: How long does it take to get a mount
back?
A: The timeframe is typically 4-8 months depending on the time of year
and the workload at the tannery.
Q: What will you need if I want a fish
replica?
A: Take color photos of your fish fresh out of the water.
Measurements of length and girth dimensions are also helpful.
Q: Do you have any mounts for sale?
A: We occasionally have mounts for sale. Call and ask what we have
available.
Q: My trophy deer/elk hide/antler has
damage, is there anything that can be done?
A: Maybe. If the hide cannot be repaired or the damage hidden from
view, we may have a replacement cape (fee). For antlers, we need
to assess the damage and can let you know if a repair can or should be
made.
